Original charm, modern convenience
Illalangi is a luxurious boutique cottage in the heart of Blackheath — a lovingly renovated turn-of-the-century weatherboard home, once owned by the village's first baker and grocer. Today it pairs its period soul with every modern comfort: a gourmet country-style eat-in kitchen, aged Italian leather lounge, slow-combustion fire, and a newly renovated bathroom with underfloor heating and a deep bathtub.
Sleeps six across two queen bedrooms and a bunk room — ten minutes' stroll from Blackheath's cafés, restaurants and galleries, on the doorstep of World Heritage national park.

Illalangi is cared for personally by its owners — with an eye for design, a soft spot for the cottage's history, and a local's knowledge of the mountains. Fresh flowers, good coffee, and everything you need for tea on the deck, board games by the fire, and long days on the trails.
